The history of the Blažič family dates back to 1890 when Borut’s great-grandfather, Peter Blažič, came from Austria-Hungary and bought the farm with old terraced vineyards where, together with his family, they made a living from growing grapes and fruit.

Located in Ritoznoj in Štajerska, Dorcha is the brainchild of Izidor (Dorcha) Vehovar. He is the 3rd generation of his family to continue the path of viticulture and winemaking, and is intent on a new direction, a friendlier path.

House Joannes Protner is located five kilometers from the centre of Maribor, in the direction of Malečnik. Run by Boštjan Protner and his wife, Mojca, they are now heavily assisted by their children Martin and Ana. The family has been devoted to viticulture for over three decades and now have a total of 13 hectares of vineyards.

Jure Brumec is a local farmer and his family have been so in this village for generations, on the Klokočovnik Hill. A close neighbor and friend of Sanctum’s, he is an expert on the many hillsides and small vineyard sites in this impressive sub-region.

Kobal wines come from the Haloze appellation in Štajerska Slovenia. Since the Roman times, Haloze has been considered one of the top wine-growing sites in Central Europe.

Mansus winery is one of a handful of Vipava growers who have the coveted indigenous Klarnica grape variety. They farm their vineyards organically and ferment all of their wines with no added yeasts.

Pasji rep (translated to “Dog’s tail” because of the valley’s unique shape and the stream that runs through it) is one of the oldest vineyard areas in the historic Vipava Valley region, in southwestern Slovenia, bordering Italy.

Pikasi - Saramento is a negociant project of Slovenian winemaker and professional ballroom dancer, Matic Rodica. Together with Vipava Valley grower, Petr Stegovec, Matic created the Pikasi lineup of naturally fermented indigenous variety wines – Pinela, Zelen, Rebula, Barbera and Barbera Rose.

Posestvo Bela gora (White hill estate) is a small family-owned vineyard and winery that is producing vibrant and authentic wines from Štajerska grape varieties.

Ptujska Klet winery cellars have been used for storing and aging wine since 1239. Located under the historic town of Ptuj founded by the Romans, the Ptuj Cellar is one of the oldest in Europe.

In 1998, Marinko Rodica, a car mechanic by trade, decided to start a new chapter in his life and became a winemaker. 10 years later, in 2008 Rodica family winery had sixty thousand vines and was certified organic.

The Podkubovšek family, starting with Vlado and his son, Marko, has always cherished and been proud of this local heritage, hence the fact that all of their wines are made in a traditional style.

Zajc family winemaking tradition dates back to the second half of the 19th century. Doljenska region is known for fresh and light red and white wines.
