Mansus
About
Mansus is a brand name created by the Makovec family from Vipava Valley. Up on the very top of the hill in Brje, overlooking the entire valley, winemaker Bogdan and his family farm their steep hillside vineyards where soft Mediterranean breezes mix with harsher continental winds coming from the Karst Plateau. Mansus winery is one of a handful of Vipava growers who have the coveted indigenous Klarnica grape variety. They farm their vineyards organically and ferment all of their wines with no added yeasts.
