Notes: Maraština(also known as Rukatac further south in Dalmatia)is a versatile white, indigenous to theDalmatiancoast, that can offer pretty aromatics and vary in body depending on growing conditions. Skelin finds a beautiful balance capturing the fruit, along with a refreshing seaside wine. Straw yellow in the glass, the wine pops with stone fruits and yellow apples, with wild Mediterranean herbs. It follows with a refreshing palate of regional freshness, peach-lemon sea spray, and a salty finish with balanced acidity and a gentle medium body. A refreshing wine to sip by any cool body of water, or throw back with grilled fish and veggies, or sushi rolls.

Skelin
Slightly further up the coast from the hustle and bustle of southern Dalmatia, lies the peaceful Skelin Wine Estate, a small b&b and winery tucked away on the Miljevci plateau just outside of the town of Šibenik. The winery has been in the family for five generations, since Joso Skelin and his family cleared and planted the original plot entirely by hand, hauling water on their backs in the blistering summers, and clearing stones during the winters.
