Skaramuca Vineyards

One of the first quality-minded producers to emerge on the Peljesac in the early 1990s, Ivo Skaramuca sources grapes from his own and other vineyards on the Dingac slopes and vinifies them in a modern, scientifically equipped winery in the inland valley. The wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for one year.

Tasting Notes
This classic Dingac Plavac Mali has medium-high acidity and medium tannin and body - a perfect food wine. The nose is earthy, and the palate reveals intense red cherry, tobacco, and a mellow vanilla-oak character, leading to a long cocoa-tobacco finish. Enjoy it with pork roast or chops, or a rustic prosciutto and strong cheeses.

Variety: Plavac Mali

Region: Dingac, on the Peljesac Peninsula
