The Ptujska Klet Winery
The producer of the Pullus line, Ptujska Klet is the oldest winery in Slovenia - its cellars dating to 1239 lie labyrinthine beneath the streets of the city of Ptuj. Its famous wine archive contains the best vintages of the 20th century, including all vintages since 1946. Since Slovenian independence in 1991, the winery has adopted the modern practices of international winemaking, and now produces premium varietal wines and blends from grapes that are hand-harvested from the terraced vineyards around Ptuj.

The second Sauvignon Blanc in the Pullus line is made from grapes harvested over the course of one month to ensure optimal ripeness. Protective technology ensures freshness and preservation of varietal characteristics, and partial ML and lees aging adds a roundness unexpected in a wine made for drinking now.

Tasting Notes
A dry, delightfully rounded wine with grapefruit, guava and pineapple on the nose and hints of paprika on the palate, this is a springtime treat with asparagus dishes and seafood.
